Areas of Practice
ESTATE PLANNING
- Preparing estate planning documents to meet each client’s individual needs, from the simple to the complex, including wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, marital property agreements, life insurance trusts, charitable remainder trusts and special needs trusts
- Creating and implementing asset-protection plans for clients planning for possible nursing home care
- Guiding families through probate or trust administration after the death of a loved one
BUSINESS
- Setting up business entities, including LLCs, LLPs and Corporations
- Sales and acquisitions of businesses, ranging from small local businesses to the U.S. subsidiary of an international company
- Successful briefing of appellate issues before the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and Wisconsin Supreme Court
REAL ESTATE
- Negotiating and preparing buy-sell agreements, asset purchase agreements, employment contracts, licensing agreements, non-compete agreements and other contracts for business owners
- Negotiating and preparing residential and commercial offers to purchase, land contracts, leases and other real-estate related documents
