Firm Supports Event Held in Memory of Dale Eaton’s Daughter

 In Shared Articles

One of our partners, Dale Eaton, lost his daughter, Emily, to the H1N1 flu virus in 2009. Emily was just 12 years old. Dale and his wife, Jennifer, started a charity, Emily’s Path, in her memory. The organization’s mission is to bring happiness to children facing challenges in their lives.

The children Emily went to school with are graduating from Wausau West High School this spring. Dale and Jennifer were “moved beyond words” to find out that the Wausau West Student Council is holding a fundraiser for Emily’s Path “to honor her memory and to recognize her place in the Class of 2015.”

The event is called “Color Emily’s Path” and is a spin-off of the popular “Color Run.” Each attendee is asked to wear a white shirt, and will be given a 1/2 pound bag of colored powder. The participants will be tossing the colorful powder into the air and on each other, making for a happy, fun, colorful time! The event details are below. If you would prefer to make a cash donation, the Student Council is accepting funds, which will be donated to Emily’s Path in the name of the Class of 2015.
